Wolf and Her Cub
This was my final project for my figure study class. I wanted the viewer to feel like they are an unwelcome intruder and was particularly inspired by a collection of images Croquis Cafe uploaded of a woman posing with her baby. I used one of the images from that collection as a reference. I wanted to capture the Mother's protective instincts but also contrast it with how vulnerable her pose is. This was made using Charcoal through the reductive method.
Charli the Eldergod
This is an illustration of a classmate of mine, Charli, done for my art class using Copic markers. The assignment was to make a mythical creature from merging together real creatures. Charli and I used this assignment as the opportunity to bring a running joke in our friend group into reality. This joke was based around ominous or odd things Charli said which hinted at what her true form looks like.
My teacher was terrified of this drawing and would refuse to look in my direction while pacing the room giving feedback. One of my proudest moments.
Socks
This assignment required us to choose multiple pieces of fabric to make a composition out of. I am an avid collector and wearer of silly patterned socks, so I choose some of my favorites for this drawing. Aiming for for a playful mood,  I focused on capturing saturated colors with my chalk pastels. Besides the vivid colors, I tried to pose the socks in such away that it looks like the sock shark is trying to eat one of the rubber ducks.
