I have worked on both 2d and 3d animations. For more examples of my work you can visit my Vimeo. Below I have highlighted a couple of my past work.
Angela Bust Turn Around
Made this one summer as a quick animation practice. It was around this time that I decided to use Angela as my personal mascot. Angela is a character from a series of vignettes which I use to explore the environment, creatures, and culture of my version of Hell. I love how cartoony Angela is, meaning I can be as bouncy and exaggerated with her animations as I like. This animation was made using Photoshop where I drew each frame.
Production Bumper
This was a class project done in the spring of 2020. For this I made a puppet of the character in Illustrator which I then animated in After Effects. The character featured is Niffy, who at the time I tried to push as my personal mascot. I will be making a new bumper soon since besides getting better at animation, I am instead using the character shown above as my personal mascot.
Dome Animation
This animation was made to be projected on a star dome. My goal with this animation was to interact with the audience by using the third dimension of space provided by the dome. What could be more immersive than being eaten?
I imagine this Cerberus is one of the many demons wandering Hell that my character's, Angela's, story sets in.
This animation was made during the midst of the pandemic and so I didn't get to view it in its intended format until April 2022 where it was displayed at the Peoria Riverfront Museum for Bradley University's Fuse. It was fun seeing people's reaction. I can confidently say this animation looks best in a dome rather than as a video online.
